MAJOR ACTIVITIES

Frequency

Leading the manufacturing department of company

After receipt of Sales orders, need to execute manufacturing involving Design, PPC, Production, QC, Stores, Purchase, Dispatches and customer complaints

 

: Verification of engineering drawings involved in processes.

:Production planning & execution as per dispatch plans

:Ensuring required quality is delivered as per customer needs

:Intending/purchase of required goods as per needs

:Development of suppliers when needed & validating them

 

 

Daily Basis

Systemise

Job card creation and movement as per route chart

Manufacturing route chart & Machine loading plan

Final QC & Dispatches

ERP system

Review of 3E(PMS)

 

Build & identify

Training need analysis, Impartation & Assessment

Team handling/ work delegation

Need to systemize, Monitor, Motivate and guide various teams to close sales as per stipulated sales plan of company

Channelize training modules within company under guidance of Consultants, Internal system and  other outside agencies

Policies

Implement laid company policies ( various SOP’s of all departments ) in organization and outside agencies like suppliers, Job workers & service providers

Improvement & Cost Saving

Continues working on improvement & cost reduction in complete mfg. departments as per cost saving/improvement  targets

 

Review & MIS

Review various parameters as per SOP’s and report MIS on daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1. Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical
  2. Must have 10- 12 years of experience working in Tool room or Machine shops
  3. Must have complete knowhow on Auto cad and drawings
  4. Must have excellent leadership quality to handle team of 30 to 50 people of various departments

 

 

FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Coordination among different parties
  • Proficiency in Excel, / Power point / Word
  • Must have worked in ERP system or other software’s to handle manufacturing
  • Technical knowledge of machined parts, Heat treatment, assembly of light engineering products
  • Crisis management

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES: Prompt, Analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, liaising skills, excellent coordination skills with cross functional department.
