Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and innovative Design Engineer to join our team, a leader in retractable roof engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and detailing cutting-edge retractable louvered roofs and other specialized structures, ensuring precision, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Develop designs for retractable louvered roofs, polycarbonate roofs, and related systems.
Create detailed 2D/3D models and drawings using software like AutoCAD, and SolidWorks
2. Project Collaboration:
Collaborate with the research team, production engineers, and clients to understand project requirements.
Modify and optimize designs based on feedback and functional requirements.
3. Technical Calculations:
Perform structural load calculations, material strength analysis, and thermal performance assessments.
Ensure designs adhere to safety standards and project specifications.
4. Prototyping & Testing:
Oversee prototype development and testing phases.
Troubleshoot and refine designs to resolve technical challenges.
5. Documentation and Compliance:
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, BOMs, and design reports.
Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes and industry standards.
6. Innovation:
Identify opportunities for design improvements and innovative solutions.
Support patent-related work for novel designs, if applicable.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in Solid Works and Auto CAD is must
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, structural engineering, and material properties.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Qualifications: Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in designing mechanical structures or similar products.
Prior experience in designing retractable roofs, louver systems, or facades is an added advantage.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with manufacturing processes like sheet metal fabrication, aluminum extrusion, and powder coating.
Salary:
3 to 7 LPA ( Salary no bar for the right candidate)
