Responsibilities
Store Operations Management Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring efficiency and smooth functioning. Manage inventory, ensuring the availability of engineering products, tools, and parts. Maintain a high level of store organization and cleanliness.
Team Leadership Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of employees to achieve store goals and provide excellent customer service. Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing development for current staff. Develop employee schedules and manage time-off requests to ensure proper staffing levels.
Customer Service Ensure high-quality customer service by resolving complaints and addressing customer concerns in a professional and timely manner. Assist customers in selecting engineering products and providing recommendations based on their needs. Monitor customer satisfaction and continuously strive to improve the store’s service standards.
Inventory Management Track inventory levels and order new stock to avoid shortages or overstocking. Perform regular inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records. Work with suppliers and vendors to source new engineering products or equipment.
Sales and Performance Metrics Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance store profitability. Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying trends and making adjustments to sales tactics accordingly. Ensure proper pricing and promotions are applied in accordance with company policies.
Safety and Compliance Ensure store operations adhere to safety standards, including the proper handling of engineering tools and materials. Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and health and safety laws. Conduct safety training for staff and regularly review safety protocols.
